My Mum
Mum aged 17
Eight years ago today my beloved Mum passed away. She was my best friend and rock and I miss her so much..
Mum was 78 when she died, she went to the doctor as she kept having nose bleeds, got admitted into hospital, had a anurism, and never came home!
The only time Mum had ever been in hospital was in 1946 and 1964 when my brother and myself were born.
I kind of took after her on that score as until I hit 40 I’d never been in hospital for anything. Now I’m most wanted in every hospital in the area!!
Mum was a funny lady, we giggled together constantly and if my elder brother and myself happened to be visiting Mum at the same time.. She knew there’d be constant laughing as we’re ones for telling jokes and basically having fun.
Anyway I’m not going to make this a maudling post as Mum wouldn’t have wanted that.. Its just to say I miss you Mum and I hope you and Dad are looking after each other and not getting upto any mischief.

Tracey, I am so sorry about your Mom. She sounds like a wonderful, warm and caring woman. My belief is that she is with you still - she won't ever leave you. You were blessed to have her in your life.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you.
Sweet post ... I sure think you have your mom's eyes.

ReplyDeleteHello Tracy, thank you for following me. Cherish those lovely memories of your mum and what beautiful pictures of the wonderful lady. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy, It is nice to hear that you have so many warm memories of your Mum. Those are things that can never be taken away from your heart or your memory. I must say, you look very much like your mother from the photo you posted of her. As for your parents getting into mischief, I suppose there is only so much the man upstairs will let them get away with.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for becoming a follower. You caught me by surprise!
Sounds like a great mum. Thinking of you.
ReplyDelete{{{{HUGS}}}} What great pictures of your mom, and it sounds like you have many, many cool memories of her.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, Tracey, all the way from Canada! I know what you mean when you miss your Mom. I miss my sweet Momma, too. I think you look a lot like your Mom when she was young. Laughter and memories...no one can take those from you. How precious and true are the moments. Relish them. Blessings. x

So sorry about you're Mum,very sad when we loose someone that's so close to us!! Hug for you today from me!
I am very close to my Mom too, she has not been in very good health for about 12 years, she's 92(she would not like me telling you that) and we laugh and tell stories like you and your Mom.
I was diagnosed with Leukemia late last year and have had a few panic while trying to deal.
I love your spirit and hope that I can emulate it in my outlook !
I added your blog to my blogs that I want to follow list so I can get to know you better!
