Its a wonderful life

Yesterday i decided to have a baking session and made some chocolate biscuits and some chocolate cake.. Today was savoury day and i made sausage rolls and bacon & egg pie.

I was just about to take the sausage rolls out of the oven when the phone rang.

It was my local newspaper informing me that i had been nominated by one of my friends for a makeover… No one has ever done anything like this for me and i was gobsmacked.

Julie had got in touch with the paper as she thought i deserved a treat and a pamper.

I remember it well, the day i told Julie i had cancer, we both cried buckets but this wonderful lady has been a great friend throughout and this is most definitely the icing on the cake.

Apparently i get clothed at Debenhams and then go to a hairdressers to get my tresses sorted..

Its not until May but i am truly excited..
